A young man after a painful adventure with health decides to leave the city of Athens and settled in “Little Village” of Evritania. A man who loves the nature and discovers paving paths, putting arrows and signs, discovers and maintains chapels and also takes care of the village’s museum.

The mountain refuge is designed in the context of searches and considerations which form a continuous exposure and the book titled “archetypes” of huts and pens in contemporary art and architecture. More specifically based on the old lodgings that are scattered in the area and they made of stone and covered with corrugated sheet metal oxidized by time. (see photo)
With the same materials and basic static body of reinforced concrete in conjunction with composite lumber, the refuge was included in the clearing overlooking the river and oriented to meet the requirements of bioclimatic design.
Particular emphasis was given on the integration to the landscape
