The building is situated at narrow facing site which lead the design to a narrow volume of long side elevation. The external walls were set back from the layout of the volume, defined by the uncoated concrete structure. Therefore, intermediated zones were created which alternate from void to solid, supporting small verandas or planting cases. The concrete skeleton was used as an element of joining two levels together, the ground and the first floor, in one zone creating a new morphological element that helped to break up the massiveness of the volume and give it a more human scale. It should be mentioned that apart from the typical one level floor plan the building was designed to house apartments that extend in two levels with internal staircases.
